Oakhurst Equine Veterinary Services is seeking a motivated Equine Veterinary Associate to join our collaborative practice in the Pacific Northwest. About the Role
The role is primarily a balanced combination of ambulatory and in-house work, with flexibility based on interests and practice needs.
Opportunity to develop or expand interests in sports medicine, lameness, internal medicine, reproduction, or surgery
Shared on-call schedule designed to support sustainability and team balance
Mentorship available for early-career veterinarians; autonomy and case ownership encouraged for experienced clinicians

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
DVM or VMD, licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Oregon
Strong work ethic, curiosity, and commitment to high-quality equine care
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Willingness to participate fully in the realities of equine practice, including ambulatory work and emergency care
Extra consideration will be given to board-eligible or board-certified candidates, particularly in surgery, internal medicine, or sports medicine.
