At Animal Alliance of Galveston County, we strive to make a positive impact in our community by providing low-cost preventive services for our clientele. Our efficient and plentiful support staff works hard to support our veterinarians in a new, large facility which creates a great work environment.
As a full-time veterinarian (~32 hours/week), you will work with other well-seasoned veterinarians. We will happily mentor new graduates and encourage applications from any level of experience. Work life balance is the standard here consisting of a four day work week, with no on-call or emergencies and no weekends.
The employment package is competitive and values all you do as a team leader. We offer a generous salary commensurate with experience, 14 days regular PTO days, 2 floating holidays, 80% paid medical insurance, paid $20,000 life insurance plan, paid short term disability insurance, paid liability insurance, $100 uniform allowance, optional dental/ vision and optional long term disability insurance. Animal Alliance will pay for state license renewal fees, three association or membership dues of your choosing and provide a $4,000 CE allowance with 3 paid CE days. And, as a 501(c)(3) eligible organization, you may apply for the federal student loan forgiveness program.
