Description
Georgesville Road Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our established, family-owned small animal practice in Columbus, Ohio. Since 1976, we have earned the trust of our clients and community by providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care in a practice built on strong relationships, consistency, and personal service.
Our doctors are supported by an experienced team, clear expectations, and a collaborative environment that allows them to focus on excellent medicine, meaningful client communication, and high-quality patient care. We offer the opportunity to practice in a stable, well-established hospital where teamwork is valued, long-term relationships matter, and individual strengths and interests are respected.
In this role, you will provide high-quality medical care for small animal patients, perform examinations, develop treatment plans, explain diagnostic findings and care options to clients, and work closely with support staff to ensure efficient patient care and smooth hospital operations. Surgical and dental experience is preferred but not required, and we are open to shaping the role around the candidate’s experience, interests, and long-term professional goals.
We value a balanced, sustainable schedule and believe veterinarians do their best work when they have time to recharge. There are no after-hours or on-call requirements, and our hospital is closed on Sundays.
We are open six days a week, with shorter hours on Saturdays. Our preferred schedule is a full-time, five-day workweek, though we are open to discussing four 10-hour shifts to support the right candidate and the needs of the hospital.
We welcome candidates who are looking for a supportive team, a loyal client base, and the opportunity to build a rewarding long-term career in general practice. Whether you bring several years of experience or are looking for a practice where you can continue to grow with the right support, we would be glad to speak with you.
