Associate Equine Veterinarian
South Mountain Equine is seeking an experienced equine veterinarian to join our growing team in beautiful Middletown, Maryland. As a well-established, progressive equine practice, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality medicine, exceptional client service, and a collaborative environment where veterinarians can continue to learn and grow.
Our practice is expanding from three veterinarians to four and offers a diverse caseload with a strong emphasis on ambulatory medicine, supported by a dedicated appointment facility. Located at the base of the Appalachian Trail and within easy reach of Baltimore and Washington, D.C., Middletown offers an outstanding quality of life with access to both outdoor recreation and metropolitan amenities.
What We Offer
South Mountain Equine is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, including:
* Digital radiography units
* Portable ultrasound units
* 1M and 3M LED endoscope
* HDE dental equipment
* A2M, IRAP II, ProStride, and ACP Max orthobiologic therapies
* Companion Laser therapy
* Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ECSWT)
We also incorporate animal spinal manipulation (chiropractic care) and acupuncture as part of our comprehensive, whole-horse approach to patient care.

The on-call schedule consists of approximately 1-2 weeknights per week and every fourth weekend.
