Who We Are:
NEPA Rescue Veterinary Clinic is a nonprofit practice dedicated to making compassionate, high-quality veterinary care accessible to every household. Our income-based sliding scale helps families afford essential veterinary services, keeping pets healthy and safely at home. Located on the grounds of Indraloka Animal Sanctuary, an accredited farm animal sanctuary, our clinic also offers the unique experience of working with rescued farm animals.
Our kind, collaborative team values open communication, mutual respect, and exceptional patient care. We prioritize employee well-being and actively work to prevent burnout, fostering a positive work environment on our peaceful 100-acre campus where veterinarians can enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
We believe veterinarians should have the freedom to shape their careers around their interests and strengths. Small-animal medicine is our primary focus, with flexibility to explore mixed-animal, equine, exotic, pocket pet, and avian medicine. We also welcome DVMs interested in shelter or integrative medicine, including acupuncture, nutrition, laser therapy, and mobility care.
New graduates receive structured mentorship, including hands-on guidance, extended appointment times, regular mentor meetings, and progress reviews tailored to their experience and confidence. Experienced veterinarians can pursue professional development and cross-training in areas of interest. Our facility features two surgical areas, digital and dental radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, anesthesia and patient-monitoring equipment, infusion pumps, oxygen support, and an in-house laboratory.
We offer flexible full-time and part-time positions with a choice of 3-, 4-, or 5-day workweeks and a team dedicated to helping veterinarians thrive. From personalized mentorship to the freedom to develop a caseload that reflects your passions, we provide the support, resources, and flexibility to build a rewarding veterinary career while making a meaningful difference for animals and the families who love them.
